Plugged it in via USB on my desk and the LED backlight makes the paper layers glow way more than I expected. The remote is handy for dimming it at night without getting up.
The layered paper cutouts look genuinely crisp against the backlight, way better than I expected from photos. I've been running it on battery mode on my shelf so there's no cord to hide, and it's still going strong after a couple weeks.
