I expected the layered paper to look cheap but the cutouts are actually crisp and the LED glow makes the whole frame pop at night. Running it on batteries so far, no cord to trip over on my shelf.
The remote control makes it so easy to switch between lighting moods, and the layered paper gives the scene real depth that photos don't capture. Just got it plugged into my USB port and the glow fills the whole shelf perfectly.
