The remote makes it easy to dim the LED backlight at night, and the layered paper looks way more detailed in person than I expected. Running it off batteries instead of the USB cable is a nice option too.
Wasn't sure the layered paper would look crisp in person, but the cut edges are razor sharp. Battery mode meant I could stick it on a shelf with no outlet nearby and the remote dims it nicely at night.
The LED backlight really makes the paper layers pop, and the remote is handy for dimming it without getting up. I have it running off the USB cable on a shelf, and the acrylic frame keeps everything crisp and clean.
