Bought this for my desk and the LED backlight is way brighter than I expected, even on the lower remote settings. Runs on batteries too, so I didn't have to hunt for an outlet. The acrylic frame feels solid, not flimsy like I worried.
The layered paper detail is stunning in person—every character cutout glows so crisply against the acrylic frame. I’ve had it plugged into my PC for a week now and the colors still look just as vibrant as day one, no flickering at all.
The remote control is way more useful than I expected—I can dim it from across the room without getting off the couch. Popping in the batteries as backup is a nice touch for when I want to move it to a shelf without a cord nearby.
