Decorated my son's cake with this set and the Pikachu on top was the first thing everyone grabbed for photos. The figures held up way better than expected for plastic toppers, and he's still keeping Charmander and Squirtle on his shelf.
The six little figures are surprisingly sturdy for cake decorations, and my daughter insisted on keeping the Pikachu and Jigglypuff on her shelf after the party. The "Happy Birthday" sign slotted in easily too, so the whole cake came together in about five minutes.
Dropped these on my son's cake and the six figures looked like they were climbing all over it. The "Happy Birthday" sign was the perfect size to tuck behind Pikachu and Psyduck without hiding them.
